Straw

Previous / Next

I like it`s shape and form, it reminds me of summer, and I guess I will go back to this beach in wintertime when they are covered in ice. These straws are about two meters tall (5-6 feet),
and look quite impressive. I can`t belive I haven`t photographed them in the wintertime...
Maybe they`re not there?
I haven`t photographed a lot of nature-stuff this year, been trying to concentrate on portraiture and street-photography. I think I made the right decition. My nature photos tend to be boring and soul-less. I guess I just do it because I want to photograph something, and because of timelimits and the fact that I`m scared of crossing my own limits when it comes to approaching strangers with a camera in my hand.
But when I do...I get a rush out of it, and even if the final picture looks like crap, the actual happening was far more interesting than for instance....a straw.

Hasselblad 503cx
Agfa RSX400
( and for christmas, I want a dictionary)

Comments:
This is a greta photo. You don't have a perfect blue sky but it still is a remarkable color. I really like the bite mark in the leaf. Gives it character!

I have a lens thats worth a million bucks and can`t afford a lens tissue. He-he. Thank you for leaving comments. I hope you continue to visit ;)

I've only been browsing your site a short while, but I think that this has hit me harder than any other picture yet. It has more soul and life than anything I've seen in a long time. Actually, I'd hit you up to buy the rights for this to use on an album cover, but I don't have the need for it at the moment. This is amazing! Bravo to you! And I think the sky is perfect Schazade! :)

Blush...Let me know if you need it....
