At night

Previous / Next

Dragged my butt out and away from the screen, and photographed. I can`t figure out why it is so hard to get out when it is so much fun once I`m there... I photographed snow and ice, a stream and moving objects...People seem to think Norway is filled with snow and polarbears trolls and nice relatives, but it`s not. It`s more like six months of grey foggy, rainy fall. With sunshine once in a while. Now, we have had snow for about two weeks, and today it started raining again, so I have to react when I get a chance.
This blog does force me to react. I think it`s good.

You forgot fjords... :)

I don't live nearly as high latitudinally as you do in Norway, but I relate to your comments about little daylight to really go photograph in. It's dark when I head out the door for work and dark when I leave to come home, so unless I make true effort to get out at lunchtime, natural light shots aren't going to happen. And the grey is pretty constant here, but I actually like that...comforting.

Anyway, lovely shot. This just feels like a clean, chilly winter night that one can appreciate while they hurry from car to home or vice versa. Lovely lighting.

SOunds much the same as england in terms of weather apart from we don't get the snow...

I know what you mean about getting the impotus to go out and shoot, i guess you've just got to remind yourself you might miss some great shots. I agree thats one of the reasons why bloggings' so good. Thanks for the add on photoblogs, i really appreciate it.

This is one of those photos, that I wish I could see it a little larger. Looks nice.

Mike: I really don`t know how to do anything about it. On some pictures, all you have to do is click on them, and they open in a new page, bigger...I don`t know...
