What a thrill it is to use a digital camera while doing night-photography! Now, I only wish I could take the rest of the year off from work. I`m ready for some serious portraits now! It just looks like I have to try out a few clichè-shots first. There has been a few sunsets, some moving water, and flower closeups... But what the heck! I`m having a ball!!!

You did notice that the chimney with the red head and the long smoke plume looks very much like a match burning in the wind? ;-) Beautiful shot, I like these kind of images, too. The difficult part is to find a subject that has some elements coming out very sharp, and others that have the smooth textures you got in these smoke plumes. Well done.

So digital is finally there :))) What's the feeling? Although I really think you should have started with an obscure digital compact, with a horrible lens, 2 megapixels resolution and that kind of stuff :))) This way you miss all the fun! A DSLR is still very similar to an SLR :)
